Collaborative Law

Collaborative Law is a non-confrontational process for resolving disputes. The parties and their lawyers attend a series of meetings to find a workable solution to their problems. Depending on the complexity of the issues at hand, additional experts such as financial advisors and family consultants may be engaged as appropriate.

In the event that a resolution is not reached on conclusion of the process, the collaborative lawyers can no longer act for the parties and the parties must instruct alternative lawyers to represent them in court proceedings.
